How did you get into coffee?
I got into coffee in 2020, my sister-in-law worked as the lead roaster of another roasting company, they needed production assistants, then they taught me how to roast and the rest is history!
What is your favorite way to make coffee/ go to order at a coffee shop?
My favorite way to make coffee for myself is a pourover. My go to order at a shop is a cortado and a drip coffee. It shows both sides of a shop's coffee program and I love seeing that!
When you're not working, where can you be found?
Hopefully in the mountains jumping my bike, camping, or snowboarding!
What is the most interesting or exciting part of working at Jackson Hole Roasters?
Most interesting and exciting is this little team has become my second family. We experiment together, we all care about making a bitchin cup of Joe but also making sure we go touch grass every day and check in on ourselves. I think a lot of that shines through in our coffee as well. We care, ya know?

How did you get into coffee?
I was working at a restaurant in town and the owner loved coffee, so he would roast his own for the restaurant and the other restaurants that he owned. I asked if I could learn more about it and not long afterwards I started buying sample bags of green coffee online and roasting when I wasn’t working. Eventually I bought a small sample roaster so I could keep experimenting at home, a few twists and turns later and here we are at Jackson Hole Roasters!
What is your favorite way to make coffee/ go to order at a coffee shop?
Cortado is my bread and butter but if I’m looking for a sweet treat I always go for an iced mocha. I think chocolate and coffee go hand in hand.
When you're not working, where can you be found?
Trail running in the summer and skiing in the winter. The occasional bike ride or climb is always enjoyed.
What is the most interesting or exciting part of working at Jackson Hole Roasters?
The people, whether it’s the team we have here, our customers, or the farmers we get to work with in the remote mountains of Central and South America, the people keep it fun and exciting. Since there are about 25 million coffee farmers in the world, there is a never-ending amount of coffee to try and people to meet. This discovery process is what fuels me. Being able to continuously try new and exciting coffee from all over the world is incredibly fulfilling. Especially when we find a coffee we love, then we get to share it with our customers!

How did you get into coffee?
My first job in coffee was as a Barista when I moved to Colorado after high school graduation in 2003, I've been working on and off in the industry ever since.
What is your favorite way to make coffee/ go to order at a coffee shop?
I like to keep it simple! I usually go for a drip coffee or Americano. If I'm feeling crazy I'll get a spicy Chai.
When you're not working, where can you be found? Always outside. Running, hiking, or (new to me) gravel biking.
What is the most interesting or exciting part of working at Jackson Hole Roasters?
Every day is different. Roasting coffee has so much variety day to day. Whether it's roasting to fill orders or roasting to try a new crop for the year.
Having Art's Coffee (our cafe in Victor, Idaho) and working the barista life again has provided the customer service aspect that makes coffee so fun.

How did you get into coffee?
I love coffee (who doesn’t!!) and my sister has worked as a coffee roaster for many years now as well as my wife, who always shares her knowledge and passion for coffee with me. JHR was in need of a production helper and I was in need of a part time job and voila! My love and respect for coffee and the coffee business has grown exponentially while working for JHR!
What is your favorite way to make coffee/ go to order at a coffee shop?
A single origin drip and a fun/seasonal latte
When you're not working, where can you be found?
Adventuring with my wife and dog, or riding my bike down a mountain :)
What is the most interesting or exciting part of working at Jackson Hole Roasters?
There are many interesting and wonderful things about working for JHR but something I have really loved has been learning a lot more about the entire coffee process; i.e., how and where it grows, how it’s dried and processed, how it gets to us, and how much care goes into every single step! For something most Americans drink every single morning, we really don’t know how much work goes into our morning fuel, and it has been such a delight to learn more about it!
